Our central stations are located in Florida, California, and New Jersey for redundancy. All central station employees have been trained to handle and respond to all the alarm signals your alarm system transmits.
We monitor your alarm in three different ways:
POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service, or “normal phone lines”)
GSM 3g (Cellular service)

GSM alarm monitoring is one of the most popular and preferred methods used today simply because it is easier and more reliable than other forms of monitoring on the market. The signal is transmitted in about 5-10 seconds with no interruptions in your service due to phone lines being cut or down. Also, with wired alarm systems a savvy burglar could cut the landline before he enters the home effectively disabling the system’s ability to communicate with the alarm monitoring company.
Another important feature is the GSM system automatically sends a test signal to the central station once a day to let us know everything is working properly.
Alarm.com notifies the central station when the system is armed, violated, or disarmed and they will also know if your alarm system has not been disarmed properly or has been involved in a smash and grab.
With Alarm.com you can also receive notifications to let you know when anything changes or happens to your alarm system (such as: arm, disarm, alarm violated, zone bypassed, power fail, power restored, etc.)
